Awesome! It'd be nice to see him make the Canucks next season but even if he's back in Manitoba it'll be nice to see him again. Good luck Drew!

He definitely played excellent during the season and the playoffs as well. He really elevated his game and it was nice to see how he improved in a lot of the areas he needed too and is starting to become an all round goalie. Be nice to see him make the Canucks out of camp now that Saborin is gone but another year in the AHL would only help his development. Finishing fourth in the league is save percentage is definitely a step in the right direction...Congrats Drew and good luck.

Drew won't be in Vancouver. They signed Curtis Sanford from the Blues to backup Luongo. Drew will battle with Cory Schneider for starts in Manitoba. Cory Schneider is the Canucks' version of Jimmy Howard.
