MAJOR LEAGUE KUDOS are in order for the new ticket packages/reduced prices & promotions that actually began last season mid-year. Attendance increased (not because of a great team). Witness the previous season when we DID have a great team & attendance lagged. It's all about butts in the seats. This was a move that needed to happen years before. Come to think of it, all these changes occurred, and a realignment of the front office, as well, about a month after Bob Sak resigned. The timing of all this, is oddly curious. Hey crazy, does this get me out of your doghouse?

It takes more than disagreeing on a player to get in my doghouse.

Snickers, I agree with you. Post-Sak, the Griffins have done a much better job of filling seats. I hope they keep it up.
But I have to say I was really disappointed in the Yzerman night showing. I'm guessing around 2,500ish is all. I thought that was pretty embarrasing for Hockeytown West on a night when the second greatest RW of all time was on hand.
I think those of us who were there sure gave him as big of a reception as we could, but it sure would have been nice to have the joint full that night.
I know he'll be back again quietly behind the scenes as part of his job, but we sure blew a chance to raise the roof for him last week.
