I agree totally with sjradio..I've been a Griffins fan since day 1 and they have never drawn well on bus trips..They are too expensive and with the economy the way it is these days a lot of people can't afford those prices...I also agree about getting there right before the game starts and leaving right after it's over..All you have time to do before the game starts is find your seats and heaven forbid you need to need to use the john before the game, you might miss the opening face off..It would be nice if maybe they could get there a little earlier so they could have time to look around the arena, get something to eat or go to the gift shop..I agree about the advertising too..I never hear anything about road trips unless I walk by the booster club table and see a notebook size piece of paper taped up in back of the booster club table announcing it..Who's going to be able to read that..Sjradio I guarantee it won't be long until at least that over nighter to Cleveland is cancelled..Those prices are outrageous and , roadtrips, you wonder why there's no fan support...A little advice, take it or leave it..Lower your prices and advertise more..Nobodies going to take the time to stop and read a little piece of paper taped up behind the booster club table..

Ok, sj & drew, just how to you propose that the prices get lowered. Are you going to make the difference to lower the cost per person?.......NO, I didn't think so. You know includes a ticket to 2 games, a hotel room for 1 nite AND a ride on a bus. If you think that's overpriced you need to get out more.
With fans like you two, it's easy to see why the Griffins are 0-3 at home. NO SUPPORT.

5'ers right. I know that in Chicago, there are tickets priced at over $50 for a ticket... tickets in general are more expensive there AND bus prices are crazy! As far as advertising, they are advertised in the Booster Club newsletter and Kaser talks about them in his broadcast. Aside from that, what should they do, take out a billboard? Maybe an agressive radio advertising campaign... hey roadtrips, we should talk.

I've been reading this board for a while and have a few things to say.........
1. I think it's great the Booster Club is trying to get fans to away games. I've checked the websites of other Booster Clubs and their prices for a road trip are combarible to what you see roadtrips has posted above. The other clubs get their trips to go..........why doesn't this one? In my opinion it's because everyone wants something for nothing. I plan to get my money in to go on both of these trips. Don't like the prices, don't go. This team wants to hear the FANS in the arenas they are playing in....not a bunch of whiners complaining about how much it cost.
2. Drewscheersection..........are you a Booster Club member? If so, why aren't you helping them plan a cheaper road trip for all of us? I'm sure the club would love to be able to offer a road trip at a lower cost. In my opinion, any cost would be too high for you.
