What reason do you have for not liking Greg? He's a wonderful coach and he's taking this team places considering where they finished last year. His hands are tied. If Howard is there he has to play Jimmy, Detroit tells him to and with the brass there watching our games because they are interested in the progress of our players, there isn't much he can do. When Jimmy got called up he played Drew because that's the hot goalie we had. Michaud might be a good goalie BUT Toronto would have eaten him alive. Greg's hands are not tied. But after 8 or so years of knowing him, I have plenty of reasons to not like him, and the list just keeps growing. But you pretty much just made my point for me. If Jimmy is there and able to play, he will play, no matter what. So as long as Jimmy is playing, there is no need for a goaltender to be sitting the bench if he can help out your affiliate. Alfie is a good goaltender with AHL experience and is capable of handling a period or so if Jimmy ended up getting hurt in a game. And if an injury did occur, and would keep Jimmy out for more than just the remainder of that game, Drew could be called back up to start in the following games, as needed. It is a little bit of logic, and a little bit of courtesy. (Logic... that's something that is lost on the upper management. ) Heck, if we were allowed to play Alfie, I'd take him... just so we have someone who is at 100%... not to mention the experience helps too. And this is not a slight on Logan, either. He did well in game 1. He looked a bit hurt in the 1st period, as he had a little trouble getting up after a save, but he seemed to rebound okay. Whether it be his confidence, or an actual physical injury, I don't feel he's at 100%... actually, I know he's not. He does a good job of playing thru it, but it has been said many times by the guys themselves that they feel much better with Drew in net.

Logic? Gee Lynz do upper managements of any sports teams know what that is? Hehehe!!! You just gotta shake your head at them all sometimes. Especially the Leafs; thank god I'm not a Leafs fan...I'd go insane. Ooo tough team...good luck with them. I think that's the team one of my friend's best friend play for a few years back; I'll have to ask her. Still good luck with them.

Ha... logic is something lost on upper managements for any business!
Gwinnett is a tough team, but we can beat them. With a few minor adjustments from Friday's game, we can take one from them tonight, and bring it home for three games.

Oh god I totally agree. I have to wonder what the hell the upper management at my office job is thinking half the time. It's one of those places that makes you want to beat your head against the wall. Oh ya, it's always better when you can bring it home in the playoffs for a stretch because the boys get in front of their home town fans, can sleep in their own beds and feel the crowd.
