STORM GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK: Drew MacIntyre (3-1-0, 1.50 GAA, 0.948 SVP) Drew stepped back in between the pipes and did not miss a beat. Drew MacIntyre is 10-2-2 since being assigned to the Storm.

Good for him! Should be a real confidence boost to him. I hope it continues.

I love the Goaltender of the Week for the Storm thing because Drew's the only one they've got...it's just really funny...
However he has been playing phenominal down there. 10-2-2 is an amazing record; can't get much better than that on a team who's defense has let them down more times that not from what we've heard.
Congrats to Drew! It's awesome seeing him making the most out of his opportunity to play every game.

Drew is not the only one we have. We have a backup who proved he is able to play very well when Drew was called up. But Drew is our #1, so he's getting all the playing time.

Well that's obvious that he isn't the only goaltender you have Linz. What I meant was that he's the better goalie so he's always the goaltender of the week because he's the one playing the games.

Drew got pulled tonight after the 2nd period in Dayton...Let in 4 goals. I imagine Linz went to the game so she can fill us in weather it was just an off night for Drew or our team sucked big time.....First time Drew has been pulled this year.(I think)

Well, what you said and what you say you meant were two different things. Sorry, Bryan. I didn't get to go as I had to work the NIN concert, so I didn't even get to listen to the game. I hear it was pretty bad though. And yes, this would be the first time with us this year that Drew has been pulled. Nick is really messing with the team's chemistry, and I don't like it. Seems more trades are in the works. I don't know what he's trying to fix....

When NIN was here this weekend Reznor got a lighter thrown at him. It hit him in the eye and he stopped the show. I hope the crowd it was better behaved there.
It's going to be important that Drew get's back in the groove right away. I'm confident he will. He's doing a great job in Toledo. Hopefully we'll get down there for a weekend to catch a couple of games soon. It was nice chatting with him when he was here earlier this month. Great guy with a great career ahead of him.

All was fine with Reznor and the rest of the band, to my knowledge (I was standing between the stage and the crowd, and don't recall anything being thrown... just people lol). The crowd didn't enjoy the opening band too much, though. I felt bad for them, lol.
As for Drew's outing last night, I've been told that the coach pulled him so that he wouldn't continue to be made a fool of/embarrassed by the way the rest of the team was playing in front of him.

Linz maybe you missed the part where I said it was funny which obviously meant I thought it was a joke how it's always Drew. I never put down your other goalie at all...I meant it as a joke and even stated I thought it was one.
