That sucks. www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070919/UPDATE/709190446/1003"GRAND RAPIDS -- The Red Wings almost made it back home completely healthy. Defenseman Brian Rafalski came down with a hip flexor toward the end of Wednesday's public practice at Van Andel Arena and skated off the ice before the completion of practice. Rafalski said the injury is day-to-day. He doesn't know if he'll be able to make his Joe Louis Arena debut Thursday against the Minnesota Wild. Coach Mike Babcock had scheduled to have Rafalski paired with Nicklas Lidstrom."

Thankfully, it's preseason so we at least get some information on the injury. If this were April/May/June we'd get some vague "inner body injury keeping player from 100% healthy status located between the floor and his folicles" type press release. So hopefully he is just day to day.

By the sounds of things it is very minor. They have not ruled him our of tonights preseason game ( will be on FSD). I doubt he plays but still if they even consdier playing him it is nothing to be concerned with.
