This is last nights score sheet near the end of the second period: www.nhl.com/scores/htmlreports/20072008/ES010014.HTMCan anyone explain the following to me: How/why is Koopmans playing when he didn't dress in TC and was said to still be recovering from his surgery? How can they/why would they dress three goalies? This says that Koopmans had 2 shots on goal... I know that a goalie can have one, but isn't that kind of odd in the period of time he was playing? What is up... if you know, please let me know. I'm confused.

Occasionally, teams will dress 3 goalies (not often) to get them some " time in the saddle." And/or to "throw them a bone."
The person doing the "real time" stats, screwed up. This was obviously done during the game, and I would be willing to bet after the game was over, he/she saw their mistake. I think if you were to find the official final report, it would be correct.

The game recap says that the goal against was against Jimmy, the sheet says against Logan. This whole thing is f'ed up. It also credits Logan with a goal??
I'd love to know how things really went in the net.

So I figured it out. #75 Logan Koopmans was really #75 Brent Sopel.
