Dave Andrews announced that Rockford will join the league next season. The IceHogs currently are members of the UHL, they also signed a 10 year deal with the Blackhawks.
Also Edmonton signed a three year deal with Springfield next year. Springfield currently serves as Tampa's affiliate. Tampa bay most likely will send their prospects to Norfolk where the Hawks are currently.
